Three upper back molars were removed and required deep wide grafting due to long term disease. My graft specialist was the best and most expensive in the region I lived. That was 16 years ago and those implants are working perfectly. I had bone loss on a lower back molar so I required a bone graft to build up the bone lost. Dr Echols at Periodontal Specialist performed the procedure. I have to say with my extensive experience in periodontal chairs in the past that he is up there with the best in the business. He is very through and spent a good 30+ minutes preparing the site with scraping and grinding the tooth roots and the bone location so that the new graft material would grow into the space created. He also used my blood to create a stem cell material to boost the bone grafts success rate. I feel confident my bone graft will be successful.
